Co-Production

CFRE’s work with diverse and marginalised communities is informed by Drummond Street’s co-production approach which provides a model for gathering and prioritising community and practitioner knowledge in the development, implementation and evaluation of programs. Co-production processes are based on the premise that service and program outcomes are enhanced through engagement, partnership and empowerment of community members and service-users (Voorberg et al, 2015). As such, CFRE harnesses co-production in all evaluations that we undertake with marginalised groups.

This process aims to prioritise the knowledge of people’s lived experience in all areas of collecting and collating evidence; co-planning; co-design; co-delivery of programs, services or initiatives; and the co-review of project learnings and service outcomes.
