Queerspace Research

Research done by and for LGBTIQ people

The queerspace research team undertakes research and evaluation projects that contribute to and inform drummond street’s queerspace programs, community consultations, training programs and policy advice. The work engages with participatory processes that prioritise inclusion of voices from our communities and across the LGBTIQ spectrum.

These projects also aim to address gaps in current understandings of LGBTIQ experiences of health and wellbeing challenges, and the service needs of our communities in addressing them. Some current areas of inquiry include respectful relationships and family violence, and suicide prevention.
